INTRODUCTION

As the name itself enunciates, DriverUPDATER is a software which updates a PC's drivers. A Driver is a piece of software which acts as an interface between the hardware devices and certain programs. A driver performs the action of a translator for the programs that take the help of hardware devices to perform certain functions.

All hardware devices which are used for the functioning of the PC comprises of specialized commands that are used by the driver during the time of programming. Talking in technical terms, all physical components and peripherals installed in the computer system runs a set of instructions which are stored by the driver file. With new technology introduced in the market, manufacturers produce latest updated drivers which either work on the bugs in the older version or that constitutes of updated codes which work for the betterment of the product.

Many drivers are installed with the operating system itself. But as time passes and with advancement in technology the existing drivers get outdated. Because of these outdated drivers hinder the proper functioning of a hardware creating further problems like malfunctioning of applications, slow PCs. Erroneous running of applications, even the new ones also do not work accurately. In adverse conditions, the system may also fail.

DriverUPDATER will find new driver updates and will update the PC. It indirectly manages the driver and diagnoses the hardware. It works in a set order by checking the existing ones with the latest drivers and then finally points the drivers which need to be updated. DriverUPDATER automatically downloads and installs the latest updates for the drivers. This software gives a summary of the work it does on the drivers. DriverUPDATER is quite different and advantageous over other such softwares available on the internet. It is in a habit of creating a back up copy of the drivers already existing in the machine before installation of the updates.

OVERVIEW
